News: The session of the organizing committee of the first World Mind Sports Games was held in Beijing  On December, 20 2007 in the Beijing International Convention Center (China) in the Olympic Village the session of the organizing committee of the first World Mind Sports Games (October, 3-18 2008) was held.
The head of the organizing committee of the first World Mind Sport Games (WMSG) is the President of the China Olympic Committee and the executive president of the organizing committee of the Olympic Games in Beijing 2008 (BOCOG) Mr. Liu Peng. The member-in-honour of the WMSG organizing committee is Jacques Rogge.
The following officials participated in the session of the organizing committee of the first World Mind Sport Games: the president of the China Olympic Committee Mr. Lu Pen, the secretary general of the China Olympic Committee Luzeng Song, the IMSA and WBF president Jose Damiani (France),  the IGF vice-president Yuki Shigeno (Japan), the FIDE executive director David Jarrett (Great Britain), the executive director of the FMJD Asian Draughts Confederation Chimeddorj Bat-Erdene (Mongolia), the president of the Italian Bridge Federation FIGB Gianarrigo Rona (Italia), the secretary general of the Multisport Association of Russia Alexey Kylasov.
