Multisport Association of Russia

The establishment of relations with the organizational committees of multisport games and organizations holding such games has become one the MAR major tasks since the moment of its foundation. One of the prior aims is Russian national sports inclusion in different multisport games’ programs for the further promotion and recognition of the sports by national OCs in other countries.

Federations-MAR members together with international federations participate in various Games, most significant out of which are the following:

World Games (IWGA): 35 non-Olympic sports.
World Student Games - Universiade (FISU) – both Olympic and non-Olympic sports (e.g. chess, bridge, orienteering)
World School Games – Gimnasiade (ISF) – both Olympic and non-Olympic sports (e.g. mini-football, floorball)
World Military Games (CISM) - both Olympic and non-Olympic sports (e.g. life saving, parachuting, golf)
