News: The 5th TAFISA World Sport for All Games 2012 will take place in Siauliai  On May, 29 2008 in Bordeaux (France) there took place the session of the Board of Directors of the Trim and Fitness International Sport for All Association (TAFISA) which is recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC). Lithuanian city of Siauliai will be the host city of the World Sport for All Games - 2012.
The Multisport Association of Russia secretary general – Alexey Kylasov – supported Siauliai as a candidate city. Besides, the application campaign “Siauliai-2012” was conducted by the Russian agency “Brand Action Group” and Victoria Voskanyan who also had taken part in the application campaign of city “Sochi-2014” for winter Olympic Games.
 Initially three cities claimed to become the venue of the significant competitions; they were Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), San Paulo (Brazil) and Siauliai (Lithuania). Twelve out of the sixteen members of the TAFISA Board of directors voted for Siauliai. The host city of the Games 2012 will be announced on October, 2 2008 at the closing ceremony of the 4th World Sport for All Games in Busan (South Korea).
