International Mind Sports Association (IMSA)
The Multisport Association of Russia (MAR)
The International Mind Sports Association (IMSA) and the Multisport Association of Russia (MAR) share the same value of promoting mind sports, as activities for development of a society. The IMSA and MAR recognize the importance of the World Mind Sports Games sponsored by IMSA meets as a multi-sport event and agree to support each other and provide assistance based on the following principles:
The MAR in cooperation with Federal Agency for physical training and sport (Rossport) and Russian Olympic Committee (ROC) unite national federations of mind sports and recognize partnership of IMSA. The MAR has intention to spend similar Russian Mind Sports Games. The AMSR is willing to review and further develop the sports program of the Russian Mind Sports Games with the help and input of the IMSA.
The IMSA - created under aegis of General Association of the International Sports Federations (GAISF), uniting the international federations – Bridge (WBF), Checkers (FMJD), Chess (FIDE) and Go (IGF) will provide its expertise when needed, recognize partnership of MAR and will maintain its cooperation with the AMSR, Organizing Committees of World Mind Sports Games coordination and relations with International Federations, and will help to promote, and agrees to grant its patronage to Organizing Committee of the Russian Mind Sports Games and to provide technical assistance through the transfer of knowledge program.
The MAR recognizes the importance for athletes and officials in all sports to participate as a national multi-sport delegation at the World Mind Sports Games, and will therefore implement this concept in future activities and makes national delegation.
The IMSA recognizes that the Organizing committee of the Russian Mind Sports Games could be included on the program other mind sports and the version of national disciplines of international federations registered sports.
