| International Sport festival of Finn-Ugric peoples ‘Komi-2010’ is presented at the sport forum “Sport-Sochi-2009”
At the sport forum “Sport-Sochi-2009” the Multisport Association of Russia presented the international sport festival of Finn-Ugric peoples “Komi-2010” which will take place in Syktyvkar. Besides Alexander Kuznetsov, MAR vice-president, and Alexey Kylasov, MAR secretary general, Nikolay Gordeev – head of Komi Agency for sport and physical culture – participated in the project presentation. |
| Nomination of Saint Petersburg for hosting the World Games -2013
The Multisport Association of Russia received a letter from IWGA’s President Ron Fröhlich which suggests that Saint Petersburg should be nominated for hosting the World Games-2013. |

From October, 27 to November, 8, 2008 the Multisport Association of Russia delegation visited preliminary tournaments and the organizing committee session of the 9th World Games Kaohsiung-2009 (Taiwan). |
| The 1st World Mind Sports Games
From October, 3 to 18 2008 in Beijing (China) the First World Mind Sports Games were held. The Games were organized by the International Mind Sports Association (IMSA) under the aegis of the General Association of International Sport Federations (GAISF) and with the support of the International Olympic Committee (IOC). |
