International Sport festival of Finn-Ugric peoples ‘Komi-2010’ is presented at the sport forum “Sport-Sochi-2009”
At the sport forum “Sport-Sochi-2009” the Multisport Association of Russia presented the international sport festival of Finn-Ugric peoples “Komi-2010” which will take place in Syktyvkar. Besides Alexander Kuznetsov, MAR vice-president, and Alexey Kylasov, MAR secretary general, Nikolay Gordeev – head of Komi Agency for sport and physical culture – participated in the project presentation.
Nomination of Saint Petersburg for hosting the World Games -2013
The Multisport Association of Russia received a letter from IWGA’s President Ron Fröhlich which suggests that Saint Petersburg should be nominated for hosting the World Games-2013.
14th non-Olympic Sports’ Festival
On March, 26 – 28 2009 14th Non-Olympic Sports’ festival was held under patronage of the Multisport Association of Russia in the bounds of the 16th Specialized Exhibition “SPORT-SPORT” in Sport-concert complex.
Memorandum with the Association of IOC Recognized International Sport Federations (ARISF) is signed
On January, 20 in the bounds of the 2nd IOC Recognized Sports conference “Next Olympic Generation” Memorandum of Understanding between the Multisport Association of Russia and the Association of IOC Recognized International Sports Federations (ARISF) was signed.
Meeting at the organizing committee of the 8th World Games Kaohsiung-2009 (Taiwan)
From October, 27 to November, 8, 2008 the Multisport Association of Russia delegation visited preliminary tournaments and the organizing committee session of the 9th World Games Kaohsiung-2009 (Taiwan).
The 1st World Mind Sports Games
From October, 3 to 18 2008 in Beijing (China) the First World Mind Sports Games were held. The Games were organized by the International Mind Sports Association (IMSA) under the aegis of the General Association of International Sport Federations (GAISF) and with the support of the International Olympic Committee (IOC).
On September, 29 2008 in the bounds of the 4th TAFISA World Sport for All Games and the 4th IOC and UNESCO Forum “Sport, Education and Culture” the UNESCO/TAFISA appeal was signed.
